Saving Power

A Japanese blog is featuring posters that ask readers to conserve electricity in order to support northern Japan’s relief efforts. The nuclear power plants that power the region were disabled by the tsunami that devastated northern Japan and are still causing much concern with radiation emissions and the possibility of a meltdown. As a result of the loss of the nuclear power plants, residents of Tokyo and other cities in Japan have been asked to conserve electricity so that power can be rationed to the regions most heavily affected by the disaster. These posters and many others featured on the blog calls out to the residents to take part in this effort to give nothern Japan support.
