Tombow Releases Bending Mechanical Pencils

Japanese pencil manufacturer, Tombow, released a new mechanical pencil last month. The mechanical pencil, OLNO (a play on the Japanese word “oru”, or to fold/bend), features a unique design that allows the writer to extend the pencil lead by bending the body. The body can be bent in any direction, making it very easy for writers to extend lead without changing their grip at all. In addition, there is a standard clicker for extending lead using the eraser end. The pencils were released in March 20 in Japan in 8 different colors at a price of 315 yen.
