Cross-cultural marketing agency, doq® attended the virtual 2021 Australian Export and Investment Awards to celebrate the agency’s nomination as a finalist in the Creative Industries Category.
The finalist nomination comes after doq® was selected as the winner of the Creative Industries category of the 2021 Premier’s NSW Export Awards which recognised the success and resilience of NSW exporters and their achievements in the international market.
The Australian Export and Investment Awards recognises and honours Australian exporters who have achieved sustainable growth through innovation and commitment and international companies or joint ventures who have made an enduring contribution to the Australian economy. In 2021, the awards not only honour the achievements of outstanding exporters and investors, but also showcase Australian businesses that not only survived 2020 but thrived.
Yoshinori Sakuno, founder and Group Managing Director of doq® said the nomination as a finalist in the Creative Industries category demonstrated the growth and innovative thinking of the doq® team.
“Just being recognised as a Creative Industries finalist on the national stage tells us that we are moving in the right direction,” Sakuno said. “As marketers it is our job to come up with new and innovative ways to promote our clients, and for doq® it is how we can best connect Australia and Japan.
“The nomination as a finalist in the 2021 Australian Export and Investment Awards will only motivate us to create new solutions for our clients and discover new ways to bridge the relationship between Australia and Japan,” Sakuno added.
With teams in Sydney and Tokyo, doq® specialise in exporting marketing services to Japanese organisations interested in entering the Australian, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific markets. doq® also supports Australian companies’ ventures into Japan through providing marketing services. In both situations, doq® leverages its cross-cultural expertise and bilingual skills to appropriately adapt and tailor solutions to the respective market.
