We are excited to announce the pilot episode of the documentary series “Bridging Worlds,” hosted by Group Management Director, Yoshinori Sakuno, has been completed.
“Bridging Worlds” tells the story of entrepreneur Yoshi Sakuno, who, inspired by a business trip to Japan, rediscovers and reconnects with his home country, and embarks on a meaningful journey.
In the pilot episode, The first episode takes viewers through Karuizawa, Tokyo, and Tomamu, capturing the essence of these unique destinations. Featuring Yoshiharu Hoshino, CEO of Hoshino Resorts —who is also a business partner and friend. Bridging Worlds is a visually immersive work that blends the intimacy of a memoir with the excitement of a global travelogue.
The project was produced by the visionary company MSQUARE PRODUCTIONS. doq contributed by coordinating filming arrangements in Japan, working closely with MSQUARE to create the series. MSQUARE is actively exploring international opportunities and preparing for global market showcases.
On September 2nd, an exclusive private industry screening was held at the Golden Age Cinema & Bar in Surry Hills. The event featured a talking session with the three key persons of the series – Director, Michael Cristian Greene (MSQUARE) and Yoshiharu Hoshino, along with Yoshinori Sakuno. Attendees enjoyed original cocktails inspired by Karuizawa, Tokyo, and Tomamu—regions highlighted in the series—as well as Japanese cuisine made with Japanese ingredients, allowing them to fully experience the series’ world.
The event was attended by broadcasters, writers, influencers, and travel industry professionals.
