The Japan Foundation's annual Japanese Film Festival allows the community to engage in cultural exchange through Japanese film.
Each year, doq® is tasked with assisting in the lead-up to the Film Festival, providing digital amplifications to their marketing campaigns. Digital advertising is implemented to allow the Japanese Film Festival to attract relevant patrons, amplified across social media to widen the reach of potential audiences.
In 2019 The Japanese Film Festival in Australia attracted over 30,000 attendees to its screenings across Australia, of which the majority of the audience came from a non-Japanese cultural background.
This annual project brings tangible impact to the Australian community due to the high satisfaction rate amongst audiences and strong retention of patrons from previous festivals, demonstrative of doq®’s work in promoting the diversity of art and cross-cultural exchange within the Australian market.
